Health Checks
We recommend that all new patients over the age of five book an appointment with the practice nurse for a ‘new patient check’. The purpose of this is to collect Information about your medical history, check blood pressure, smear and immunization records. If you are aged between 16 & 75 and have not attended the practice in the past 3 years we are happy to offer you a general health check with the healthcare assistant.

Child Immunisations

Our practice Nurse undertakes a full child immunisation programme. As well as immunising children she can provide parents with comprehensive advice on the childhood immunisation programme
Well Woman clinic

Our practice nurse will provide advice and perform smear test, sexual health screening and contraceptive advice. She can also give advice on breast examination.

Asthma Clinic

Julie Riddell has a diploma in Asthma. Reviewing patients periodically to ensure they are receiving the appropriate treatment and their condition is managed.
COPD

Our specialist nurse provides a clinic to monitor patients with COPD ensuring they receive appropriate treatment and medication. Reviewing their condition periodically.
Diabetes Clinic

Annual and 6mnth review including blood test,foot checks, medication review and lifestyle advice. Ensuring patients are receiving appropriate treatment and Diabetes is stable
Travel Health

We offer a full travel clinic service including travel advice and vacination. We are also a registered Yellow Fever Centre for private patients as well as registered practice patients.
